Questions about Send Code.
Do recipients need a Vernsa account?
No. Recipients can claim a code without a Vernsa account. They simply enter the code, complete a quick verification, and choose how to receive the funds — bank transfer, supported wallet, or cash pickup at a partner location.
How long does a code stay valid?
You choose when you create it. Available options range from 1 hour up to 30 days. After it expires, the code can no longer be claimed and the money returns to your business balance automatically.
Can a code be used more than once?
No. Every code is one-time use only. Once claimed, the code is permanently marked as used and cannot be redeemed again — even if someone else has the code.
What happens if nobody claims the code?
If the code expires unclaimed, the reserved amount is automatically returned to your business balance. You can generate a new code anytime.
Are there limits on code amounts?
Limits depend on your business account tier and verification level. Higher verified businesses can generate codes with larger amounts. Limits are shown when you create the code.
Can I cancel a code after sharing it?
Yes. As long as the code hasn't been claimed yet, you can cancel it from your dashboard. The reserved amount is returned to your balance immediately.
Is this different from regular Vernsa transfers?
Yes. Regular transfers go directly to a recipient using their identifier (bank, phone, email, username, or wallet). Send Code is for cases where you don't have — or don't want to save — a recipient's details, and instead want to give them a claimable code to redeem on their side.
