Getting started
0 questions
What is Vernsa for Business?
Vernsa for Business is the business-focused version of Vernsa — a financial technology platform built by Apaxaa. It lets companies send, receive and manage money using supported identifiers like bank accounts, phone numbers, emails, usernames and crypto wallet addresses.
Do I need a registered company to sign up?
Not to start. You can begin with a personal account and upgrade to a dedicated business profile as soon as you're moving business money. Business profiles unlock team roles, approval flows, and business reports.
How do I get access to Vernsa for Business?
Join the business waitlist on the business home page. We'll notify you as soon as business accounts open up. Early access members will be invited first.
Can I use my personal Vernsa account for business?
You can, but we don't recommend it. Business profiles give you features personal accounts don't have — team roles, approval flows, multi-user access, and business reports — all of which make reconciliation and compliance easier.
What currencies are supported?
Vernsa is being built to support local currencies for sending and receiving, plus virtual accounts in USD, GBP, and EUR for international payments. More currencies will be added over time.
Send & payouts
0 questions
What identifiers can I use to send money?
You can send money using supported phone numbers, email addresses, Vernsa usernames, bank accounts, and supported crypto wallet addresses — whichever is easiest for the situation. Availability may depend on the specific transaction and recipient.
Can I send to multiple people at once?
Yes. Vernsa for Business supports batch payouts — send to many recipients in a single action using saved recipients. Each payout gets its own reference so reconciliation is straightforward.
How do approval flows work?
You can require one or more sign-offs before a payment is sent, based on amount. For example, any payout above ₦500,000 might need approval from an admin. Team members below that threshold can pay directly.
Can I save recipients for later?
Yes. Save recipients with their preferred identifier — bank, phone, email, username, or wallet — then pay them in a couple of taps. This is what makes payroll and recurring payouts fast.
What are the send limits?
Limits depend on your business verification level, your account tier, and the specific corridor. Limits are shown clearly before you confirm any payment.
How long does a payout take?
Most payouts settle in seconds to minutes, depending on the destination corridor and the receiving bank or wallet. Crypto payouts settle according to the network's confirmation time.
Can I cancel a payout after sending it?
Once a payout is settled, it cannot be reversed by Vernsa. If there's a problem, contact support immediately — we'll work with you to resolve it.
Receiving
0 questions
How do I receive money from customers?
Share your Vernsa virtual account details (USD, GBP, EUR) with customers, or your wallet address for supported crypto rails. Money lands directly in your business wallet.
Can I receive payments from overseas?
Yes. Virtual accounts are designed for exactly this — receive USD, GBP, and EUR payments from international customers without opening foreign bank accounts.
What currencies can I hold in my wallet?
Your wallet supports local currency and multiple international currencies through your virtual accounts. Balances are visible in your dashboard and can be converted for payouts.
Do I get notified when I receive money?
Yes. You and your team receive notifications in real time — in-app, and optionally by email — whenever a payment lands in your wallet.
Are there limits on incoming payments?
Incoming payment limits depend on your business verification level and account tier. Limits are disclosed in your dashboard.
Send Code
0 questions
What is Send Code?
Send Code lets you generate a one-time code that someone can use to claim money — even if they don't have a Vernsa account. You generate the code, share it via SMS, email, WhatsApp, or link, and the recipient redeems it on their side.
Do recipients need a Vernsa account?
No. Recipients can claim the code without a Vernsa account. They enter the code, complete a quick verification, and choose how to receive the money — bank, wallet, or cash pickup at a supported partner.
How long does a code stay valid?
You choose the expiry when you create it — from 1 hour up to 30 days. If the code isn't claimed before it expires, the reserved amount is automatically returned to your balance.
Can a code be reused?
No. Every code is one-time use only. Once claimed, it can never be reused — even if the code leaks. Only the first successful claim receives the money.
Can I cancel a code after sharing it?
Yes. As long as the code hasn't been claimed, you can cancel it from your dashboard. The reserved amount is returned to your balance immediately.
When should I use Send Code instead of a regular transfer?
Use Send Code when you don't have — or don't want to save — a recipient's identifier. It's ideal for one-off payouts, refunds, grants, prizes, or any time the recipient isn't a saved contact. Try it on the Send Code page.
Security
0 questions
How is my money protected?
All transactions are encrypted in transit and at rest, verified before settlement, and monitored continuously. Team actions are logged, and larger payments can require multi-sign approval.
Can I control what my team can access?
Yes. Role-based access lets you decide exactly what each team member can do — admin, finance, viewer, or a custom role. You can adjust roles at any time.
Do you support two-factor authentication?
Yes. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is planned for launch and will be required for sensitive actions like adding a new recipient or approving larger payouts.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit using modern transport protocols and at rest in our storage. Access to production systems is strictly limited and audited.
Can I export an audit trail?
Yes. Every action and transaction is recorded with actor, time, reference, and amount — and can be exported from your dashboard for your records or your accountant. Read the full security page.
What happens if something looks suspicious?
Suspicious activity triggers additional verification and can be paused automatically. You're notified so you can review and take action.
Pricing

Is there a free tier?

Are there hidden fees?
No. Every fee is shown before you confirm a payment. There are no surprise charges, no monthly maintenance fees, and no minimum balance requirements.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes. On our Enterprise tier, pricing scales with volume — the more you move, the lower your per-transaction cost. Talk to our team for a custom quote.
How is billing charged?
