1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website or use an app. They help websites and web apps remember things about your visit — like whether you're signed in, your preferences, and how you use the service.
Vernsa for Business uses cookies to keep the service working, secure, and easy to use. This policy explains what we use, why, and how you can control them.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for a small number of specific purposes:
- Keeping you signed in — so you don't have to log in on every page.
- Remembering your preferences — like your dashboard settings and selected currency.
- Keeping the service secure — helping detect suspicious activity and prevent fraud.
- Understanding usage — so we can see what's working and what needs improving.
- Improving performance — reducing load times and routing requests efficiently.
We do not use cookies to sell your personal information, and we do not allow third parties to use cookies on Vernsa for advertising purposes.
3. Categories of cookies
The cookies we use fall into four categories:
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to work. They handle things like signing in, keeping your session secure, and remembering your security preferences. The service cannot function without them.
Functional cookies
These remember choices you've made — such as your language, currency, and dashboard layout — so your experience is consistent between visits.
Performance & analytics cookies
These help us understand how the service is used — which pages are visited, which features are used, and where errors occur. The data is aggregated and doesn't identify you individually.
Marketing cookies
We only use marketing cookies on our public website — never inside the Vernsa for Business app itself. These help us measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. You can opt out at any time.
4. Cookies we use
The table below lists the main cookies you may encounter when using Vernsa for Business. It's a snapshot — the exact set may evolve as the service develops.
5. Similar technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use:
- Local storage — for storing interface preferences and reducing latency. Cleared when you clear your browser data.
- Session storage — for temporary data during a single session, cleared automatically when you close the tab.
- Pixels & tags — on our public marketing pages, used to measure campaign performance. Not used inside the Vernsa for Business app.
- Device identifiers — in our mobile apps, used for security and session management.
6. Third-party cookies
Some features we depend on — like payments, verification, and analytics — are provided by trusted partners who may set their own cookies. These partners are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we've agreed with them.
We do not allow advertising networks to track you across other sites through the Vernsa for Business app.
7. Managing cookies
You can manage or disable cookies in several ways:
- Browser settings — every modern browser lets you view, block, or delete cookies. Look for "Privacy" or "Cookies" in your browser settings.
- Per-site controls — most browsers let you set different rules for different websites.
- Private / incognito mode — sessions in private mode usually don't persist cookies after you close the browser.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no universally agreed standard for how DNT should be interpreted, we do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do, however, limit tracking to the purposes described in this policy, and we don't allow cross-site advertising tracking inside the app.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features, change partners, or when the law changes. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app before the changes take effect.
The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published.
